Map Display & Presentation
MapData Sciences' RoadNet Presentation is the perfect data source for all of your Australian and New Zealand base map needs, from street level to national display scales. This product contains streets (including name and category), transport, towns, points of interest, land use and topography.
Street Address Ranges
MapData Sciences' RoadNet Comprehensive provides a detailed street centreline layer with street name and address ranges for left- and right-hand sides of the street. Geocoding applications can use this data to geocode addresses nationwide across Australia and New Zealand. Also provided are presentation layers for base map display.
Routing, Driving Directions, & Distance Calculations
MapData Sciences' RoadNet Routing Attributes are specific to street routing for our RoadNet Presentation and RoadNet Comprehensive mapping products. Attributes include one-way and turning restrictions, average driving speed, city, postcode, and state.
Australian G-NAF Address Table
MapData Sciences takes the complex relational G-NAF source data provided by the Australian Government and creates simple, easy-to-use data tables in a variety of GIS formats. We then enhance the data by providing an accurate postcode for each address — important for distinguishing towns of the same name in different parts of a state.
New Zealand GeoPAF Address Points
The GeoPAF (the title is an amalgam of "geographical postal address file") is a definitive, regularly updated file of approximately 1.8 million postal addresses augmented with geographical, statistical and property identifiers.
GeoPAF benefits from the daily ground truthing and error checking carried out by the extensive New Zealand Post field force.
